About Our Products
Because we only use fresh herbs, organically grown by us, and prepared at their peak volatility, not all products are available year round. We do try to plan ahead for seasonal product availability, but all gardeners know, you can never plan for everything!
At The Herbal Soap Co., our soaps are built around what's needed, and what's not! We start with costly unrefined organic plant oils and butters. Coconut oil, olive and grape seed oils, and shea butter. That's It!
Once saponified, any chemical additives (our only additive is sodium hydroxide, a natural wood ash byproduct) become part of the soap and leave behind no traces of their former self!
We add our hydrosols, botanicals, and color with vegetables grown right here in NJ!
What we DO NOT add are chemical preservatives, fragrances that can't be identified, colors that come from who knows where, wax, parabens, or sulfates!
Our soap retains its glycerine content for a moisturizing lather that truly heals dry skin!
